Underwater world

Don't miss the chance to scuba dive off Vela Luka on Korcula's west coast, one of the most fascinating underwater spots in the Mediterranean. Don your flippers to check out subterranean caves and old shipwrecks. If you'd rather a sunbathe instead, try out the little pebbly bays of Zrnovska Banja and Vrbovica.

The restaurants here are famous for specialities like octopus carpaccio and perfectly prepped veggies. Wash it all down with a glass of Plavac Mali – a punchy regional wine made from blue grapes.
