See the gentle waters of Batata Beach or the fortress-backed Dona Ana Beach. Visit Meia Praia, which unfolds over four kilometres. This beach is fantastic for families thanks to its shallow waters, but adrenaline junkies will also love the watersports on offer.

Outdoor adventure

Away from the shore, the Algarve is rugged, and its undulating terrain is ideal for hikers, bikers, and horseriders. Take the trails up into the Ponta de Piedade, a dramatic promontory that overlooks sea arches and the Atlantic Ocean.

Nights to remember

When the sleepy, sun-soaked day comes to an end, Lagos really comes alive. After dark, this city’s streets are replete with pubs, bars, and restaurants. While on the waterfront, you’ll find beach bars hosting dance parties that spill out onto the shores of Lagos’ beaches.
