View All DealsHolidays to Cala Tarida offer a great mix of lively nights out and traditional Spanish culture. Here, you'll experience a taste of Ibiza's famous nightlife, while enjoying seaside vibes and the island's more traditional culture.
Cala Tarida is perched on Ibiza’s western coast, and is centred around the long stretch of white-golden sand that makes up its beach. The resort boasts picturesque green hills to the east. The western shore is complemented by the blue waters of the Balearic Sea. Here, you can enjoy some of the best sunsets you're likely to see anywhere in Europe. The town and the surrounding area is relatively quiet, but the bustling party town of San Antonio is only 20 minutes away if you’re looking for an energetic night out.
Cala Tarida’s main beach boasts almost 300 meters of soft, golden sand, not to mention a great selection of sunbeds, parasols, and seaside cafés. The waters here are shallow a good way out to sea, and the waves are gentle enough for the entire family. You can even wade out to one of the rocky outcrops dotted around the bay. These are great for diving and make ideal destinations for snorkelling expeditions.
If you find yourself fancying a change of scenery, Cala Tarida can serve as a starting point for a good few day-trips. Ibiza town, for example, is only a 35-minute drive away. Boasting a rich history, the island capital has a walled old town, and an ancient cathedral dating back to the 14th century. Alternatively, San Antonio is only a 20-minute drive to the north, and offers everything from great shopping to laidback seaside bars and thumping clubs.
