Figueretas holidays

Ibiza may be known as a party destination, but that's only one facet of this beautiful Mediterranean island. Palm-lined promenades, soft sand beaches, and lots of family entertainment make holidays to Figueretes a perfect all-rounder.

Close to the action

Holidays are all about location, location, location, and if there’s one thing Figueretas has the jump on, it’s that. Figueretas features a family-friendly stretch of beach with a restaurant-studded promenade, and plenty of bars and shops to explore. The views are also great here, both to the sea, and also out to Ibiza Town’s Old Quarter. In fact, it’s only a short walk away from the buzzing scene of Ibiza Town. Close enough so you can enjoy the revels whenever you want, but far enough away so that you aren’t forced to endure them.

Family-friendly sands

The snug, crescent-shaped shore of Figueretas is about 100 metres long, and still manages to pack in everything you expect from a Balearic beach. For sunbathers, there are parasols and sunbeds. For swimmers, there are showers and lifeguards. For the hungry or curious, there are cafés and shops. Watersports also abound at Figueretas, and because the bay is sheltered, it's a great place to master activities like kayaking and paddleboarding. Families can also rent pedalos and go on their own floating tour.

Exploring the island

If you want to explore beyond the confines of Figueretas' pretty shores, then you’re in luck, and you can do a lot of the exploring on foot. The bars, restaurants and main clubs of Ibiza Town are a 15-minute walk away. 15 minutes in the other direction will lead you to Playa d’en Bossa, Ibiza’s longest beach. You can go on day-trips by boat to the gorgeous island of Formentera from Figueretas or Playa d’en Bossa.
