Whether you’re travelling with tots or teens, our family holidays to Majorca are bound to fix a smile on every family member’s face.
Big beach resorts
Majorca serves up lots of sand. One stretch that's got the family seal of approval is Alcudia Beach, with ten kilometres of the white stuff and child-friendly shallows. The old town is packed with Roman and Medieval leftovers, like the 14th-century wall that wraps around it. Puerto Pollensa and Cala Bona also reel in lots of people, thanks to their pick ‘n’ mix of restaurants and bars. Ca’n Picafort is another favourite, mostly thanks to the 13-kilometre-long sandy beach in town.
Plenty of activities
The whole family can get up close to sea creatures when they visit Marineland in Costa d’en Blanes. You can stroke stingrays, see sharks patrolling huge tanks, and watch penguins strut their stuff. Then there’s the Pirates Adventure show. Held in its own purpose-built theatre in Magaluf, it includes a buccaneer’s feast. It’s all good family fun — although nights herald a bolder uncut show for adults.
