View All DealsHolidays to Cala San Vicente offer a rustic local experience in a traditional Majorcan fishing village. This coastal port has retained its rural character, and offers great beaches all along its golden shoreline.
Cala San Vicente is one of Majorca’s least commercialised destinations. It has only a handful of hotels and villas, and no nightclubs to speak of. As a result, this quaint fishing village has retained much of its rural charm. It's the ideal destination for those wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, and experience a taste of traditional Spanish culture.
Alongside the rustic village, Cala San Vincente offers a great trio of beaches for sun-loving holidaymakers. Cala Barques is the biggest and most popular, offering a host of sunbeds and umbrellas to visitors. The shallows here boast particularly calm waters, and the rocky outcrops dotted throughout the cove are great spots to explore if you fancy a bit of snorkelling.
Majorca is a relatively small island, so you can see a lot of the sights using Cala San Vicente as a home base. The ancient Roman town of Pollensa, for example, is just a 10-minute drive away, and offers a greater selection of cafes, restaurants and bars than its neighbouring village. It even boasts a picturesque chapel atop a 365-step climb, offering exceptional views of the coastline and surrounding countryside. For something a little further afield, Magaluf and Palma are within an hour’s drive, and offer a more urban Spanish experience.
