Holidays to C'an Pastilla put one of Spain's trademark beaches on your doorstep. And you've got the capital of Palma within easy reach.
Just to the east of the Bay of Palma, laidback C’an Pastilla boasts a couple of family-friendly beaches. They’re both soft stretches, and one has a sea wall in place to create calm, bay-like waters. Just beyond, you’ll find the start of Playa de Palma – it’s got Blue Flag credentials and unravels for nearly three miles.
A palm-lined promenade connects C’an Pastilla with Arenal and Playa de Palma. It’s dotted with cafés and cocktail bars. You’ll find plenty of balnearios along the way, too – they’re rustic beach huts selling cold drinks. Alternatively, there’s also a mini-road train which runs between the resorts.
Catch a bus or taxi and you can be in the heart of Majorca’s cosmopolitan capital in under half an hour. Make tracks for the old quarter, where you’ll recognise the city’s signature Gothic cathedral. You can wander traffic-free alleyways, hiding museums, palaces and peaceful courtyards. There’s a stylish marina to explore, too.
