Holidays to Playa de Palma put you in one of Majorca's best-known beach resorts, just a short taxi ride from the island's stylish capital.
Playa de Palma's a ready-made holiday spot. It’s named after the swathe of fine sand that stretches along its length, and there are bars, shops, and restaurants to suit everyone. It’s got a great location, too, within touching distance of Palma, as well as nearby places like C'an Pastilla and S’Arenal.
The name Playa de Palma literally means Palma Beach, because it’s the nearest sandy shoreline to Majorca’s capital. As such, it’s become the most popular strip in this part of the island. And it’s got credentials that rival Spain's Costas to back it up – golden sands, lots of watersports, and a line-up of snack huts called balnearios.
You're just outside of the Majorca's capital here. If you’re driving, it’s only about 15 minutes along the coast, and there are excellent bus links connecting you to Palma, as well. It means you’ve got the world-famous Palma Cathedral, and the city’s stunning Medieval old town within touching distance.
