Flights to Istrian Riviera

Croatia has been quietly making its way up the holiday charts for a while now. But if you add to the mix a sprinkle of Italy, you’ve got the Istrian Riviera. Jutting out into the Adriatic, this northern part of Croatia is just a short hop from Venice, hence the heavy influence on, well, everything from food to architecture. And it’s a bit of a looker, too. Green-carpeted hills roll into the distance and the coastline is marked by unbelievably pretty villages. Beaches are typically little pockets of pebbles or coves of shingle, while some towns have flat, rocky bathing platforms. But flights to the Istrian Riviera offer up much more than postcard-worthy scenery. You’ll find Roman ruins in Pula and the Baroque church of St Blaise in nearby Vodnjan. Plus, there’s a string of waterside restaurants in the port of Rovinj.
