How much legroom will I get on the flight?
We measure legroom on our planes using seat pitch – in other words, the distance between one seat and the seat in front of it. On our Boeing 737 aircraft, the seat pitch is 29 inches. On our Boeing 787 aircraft, which is used for all TUI Airways long-haul flights and occasionally for shorter routes, the standard seat pitch is 32 inches.
Upgrades
On our long-haul flights, you can pay extra to upgrade to Premium seats, which have a 38" seat pitch, plus lots of other benefits to improve your flying experience. On both long and short-haul flights you've also got the option of upgrading to Extra Legroom Seats, which give you an extra two inches on your seat pitch, or Extra Space Seats, which give you at least eight inches more.
Where available, you'll have the option to book these upgrades whilst booking your holiday. If you've already booked and wish to upgrade you can do so by logging on to Manage My Booking. Alternatively, you can give us a call on 01 693 7700 (ROI) or 028 90 389 387 (NI)
