Holidays to Albir are a great choice for some sun and sea in a relaxed setting. That said, you've got bustling Benidorm just around the corner.

Benidorm’s quiet neighbour

You’ll find the little town of Albir just next to Benidorm. But, while it might share map space with the Costa Blanca’s nightlife capital, the two resorts are poles apart. Albir does things on a much smaller scale – in fact, the town’s biggest draws are its go-slow beach life and its pretty nature walks.

A-list beach

Playa de Racó de l’Albir – the town’s main, pebbly beach – has some worthy credentials to its name. As well as flying a Blue Flag for quality, it’s also backed by a promenade that’s studded with stars, in which you’ll spot the names of Spain’s biggest silver screen icons. In short, it’s the country’s version of Hollywood’s Walk of Fame.

Daytripping made easy

Albir’s proximity to Benidorm and Valencia means that, when you do fancy something a little livelier, you’ve got lots of options on your doorstep. There’s Terra Mitica, one of Europe’s biggest theme parks, the Aqualandia waterpark, and Spain’s answer to SeaWorld all within a half-hour drive of Albir.
