July and August are the best months to visit for sunseekers, with temperatures taking off to the mid-teens. The months either side are great for explorers, with temperatures – around the 20°C mark – perfect for sightseeing strolls. Rainfall’s pretty unheard of during the height of summer, but May, September and October tend to see a few showery days here and there.
