Best time to go to Lanzarote

Lanzarote has been given the name ‘the land of eternal spring,’ probably because, even in the winter, temperatures rarely dip below 16°C. And, in the summer, the mercury almost never drops under 25°C. As far as rain goes, it stays quite dry throughout the year. In fact, in June, July and August, it usually doesn’t rain at all.

Health & Safety

You should take out comprehensive travel and medical insurance to cover you while you’re away. It’s also a good idea to get a European Health Insurance Card – or EHIC – before leaving Ireland. Though it’s not a substitute for travel insurance, it entitles you to emergency medical treatment on the same terms as Spanish nationals. It won’t, however, cover you for medical repatriation, ongoing medical treatment or non-urgent treatment.
